Kennisha Hill is a dedicated inspirational author who not only pens words of inspiration through articles and blogs, she also loves speaking engagements where she can empower women on a more personal and professional scale. She is available to speak at women's meetings, youth groups, writing workshops, book club meetings and at other public events.  Below you’ll find a few topics with brief descriptions of what Kennisha Hill is currently prepared to keynote.

YMCA Career Day

Topic: Your Current Situation Doesn’t Determine Your Future

In this talk, Kennisha shared the importance of knowing your value and worth, regardless of your current living conditions. She shared a little bit of her background-- growing up in a rough part of New Orleans-- and how she was determined to make something of her life. She was able to give lots of encouragement to young teens!

JP Morgan Chase

Topic: Recognize Your Potential

In this talk, Kennisha spoke with a group of employees at JP Morgan Chase about the importance of recognizing your potential in the workplace. She talked about how you should always know without a shadow of a doubt that you possess something great in you and how it's an everyday process! 

MomLife Bootcamp

Topic: BREAK OUT Session, Ministering Through Social Media

In this talk, Kennisha spoke with a group of mom's about how you can use Social Media as a tool to minister and touch lives. Most of the internet promotes promoting yourself. As Christians, we can use this tool to impact many lives with the Gospel.

Kennisha sat on a panel with other professionals and answered questions about the world of writing and book publishing!

Topic: Turning Your Idea Into A Book

In this talk, Kennisha presented to her community keys to turning your idea into a book. Some key points discussed were: embracing your book idea, discovering the art of blogging, building your table of contents, writing an unofficial synopsis and simply getting started!

  • Topic: How to write a story-book

In this talk, Kennisha created a new story for a Kindergarten class and helped me create a new story using characters and pictures!

In this talk, Kennisha presented to her community important tips about Self-Publishing. As a self-published author of five books, she shared with her audience the wisdom she's gained from her career. Some key points discussed were: Don't get discouraged by the stigma, hone your craft, consider your presentation and budget how much you want to invest in your project.


Available Topics for 2013

Finding Peace in the Midst of Busy Toddlers:

In this talk, I'll encourage moms of toddlers, who may feel overwhelmed and exhausted, with keys to finding true peace and rest in the midst of busy parenting. (I'm a mom to three toddlers.)

Surviving as a Mompreneur:

In this talk, I'll share keys to managing life as a stay-at-home mom and an entrepreneur. Sometimes it's intimidating to imagine raising children and working simultaneously. I'll share how God can give us the strength and wisdom to do both!

Following God's lead for your family:

In this talk, I'll share the importance of trusting God's path for your family. Women (especially moms) tend to compare themselves to each other. I'd like to encourage moms to know that God's path for them may be different than anyone else's and it's always best!

Writing with Purpose:

In this talk, I will share what it means to write with purpose and not just for money. In our society, the YOU message is constantly being preached. But when you write with purpose, you recognize that the most important part of what you do as a writer is touching someone else's life. I'll share my five keys to writing with purpose.
